The Bible is the word of God written under the direction of the Holy Spirit, completely trustworthy, and without error. (Ex. 24:4; Jer. 36:1-32; Acts 2:16-47; 2 Pet. 1:21; Heb 1:1-2; Isa. 40:8; 1 Pet. 1:25). The Bible equips people through teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, and has authority in all matters of life and provides all a person needs in order to understand the Gospel (2 Tim. 3:15-17; Rom 15:4; Heb 4:12; 2 Pet. 1:19-21, 25, 1 Cor. 2:12-13). The Bible is the supreme standard by which all other human creeds, actions, beliefs, and opinions should be evaluated.
There is one personal, intelligent, infinite, holy, perfect, self-sufficient, all powerful, all knowing, and eternal God (Deut. 6:4; Ps. 18:30, 135:5-6; Isa. 6:1-5; Isa. 46:9-10 Jer. 32:17; Acts 17:24-28; Heb. 11:3; 1 Tim. 2:3-4). God is one but exists in three distinct persons each fully God and equal in authority, power, and being (John 10:30; 2 Cor. 3:17-18; Col. 2:9). God the Father reigns eternally and provides for His universe (Eph. 1:3, 5, 17). God the Son is uncreated, eternally existent, supernaturally incarnated as Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man (John 8:58, 17:5; Col 1:15-19; Phil. 2:5-11; 1 Tim. 2:5). God the Holy Spirit indwells, guides, intercedes for, and gifts believers (John 14:16-17, 26; Rom 8:27; 1 Cor. 12:1-11).
God is the creator (Gen. 1:1; Jn. 1:3; 1 Cor. 8:6; Col. 1:16; Rev. 4:11;). He created spiritual beings, angels, as ministering spirits, worshipping him and doing his bidding (Isa. 6; Dan. 8; 9; 10; 12:1; Lk. 15:10; Heb. 1:14; Rev. 7:12). One angelic being sinned, becoming Satan, the father of sin, and fell into a sinful state along with numerous other angels (Isa. 14:12-14; Ezek. 28:11-19; 2 Pet. 2:4; Jude 6).
God also created Adam as the father of mankind in his own image and likeness in a state of innocence (Gen. 1:26; 1:27; 2:17-22). However, innocence was lost when Adam and Eve disobeyed God (Gen. 3:6-24) and became sinful. They lost spiritual life (Jn. 5:40; Jn. 6:35;) and the ability to please God (Jer. 17:9; Rom. 3:10-19; Rom. 5:6) becoming at enmity with God (Rom. 8:6-7). This state is passed down making all humanity devoid of divine life and utterly helpless without God’s grace. (Ps. 51:5; Rom. 3:23-25; 5:12, 19;).
In his grace, God provides salvation. An individual becomes saved, free from slavery to sin and set-apart as God’s instrument, when the individual places their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6; Eph. 2:8 Rom. 5:8-10; 6:23). While still capable of sin, the believer is incapable of losing salvation (1 Jn. 1:6-2:11l Jn. 10:27-29; 6:37, Rom. 8:38-39, Jude 1:24) and of lives for God (Jam. 2:14-26; Titus 2:11-14).
The church is the Body (Rom. 12:5; 1 Cor. 12:12-27) and Bride of Christ which includes all people who have been called holy by being united with Christ beginning at Pentecost (1 Cor. 1:2). Within the church there exist local churches of baptized bound together by covenant for fellowship in the gospel (Acts 2:42), mutual edification (Mat. 18:15-20), and observation of the two ordinances of Christ (Mat. 28:19; 1 Cor. 11:17-26). The local church equips the saints, through teaching, discipline, ordination, and sending missionaries (1 Cor. 5:4-5; Acts 20:28; Acts 13:1-3; 1 Tim 3:1-14; Acts 6:3-6; Acts 14:23; 1 Tim 4:14). The church operates completely under the Lordship of Christ (Eph. 1:22-23; Col. 1:18; 1 Pet. 5:1-4).
At an undisclosed time, Jesus will physically and visibly return to earth as both king and judge (Matt 24:36; Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 5:1–2;). The dead will be raised, and all people will be judged (Matt. 16:27; Rom 14:10; 2 Tim 4:1). Those saved by Christ will be judged righteous and receive eternal life dwelling forever with Christ (Rev. 20:12-15; 1 Jn. 3:2). Those judged unrighteous will receive eternal punishment (1 Cor. 4:5). Sin and death will be defeated, and God will restore all of creation to its pre-fall state (Rev. 21:1-5).
