Ministry Experience

  • Southview Baptist Church, Senior Pastor
    2019–2022
    I started out as just a volunteer, became the Pastoral Resident in 2021, the Interim Pastor in May 2022, and the Senior Pastor in Oct. 2022. As the Senior Pastor, I am responsible for preaching each week, holding regular office hours, supervising the other pastoral, ministerial, and office staff, and other pastoral responsibilities. 
    In addition, I assist with several ministries including VBS, youth group, Cosecha Spanish-speaking church plant, music for worship service, and as a substitute Sunday School teacher.
  • Temple Baptist Church, Pastoral Apprentice (2018-2019)
    2014–2019
    I started several ministries including: Adult Choir (Director), instrumental music in worship services, Sunday school Teacher Professional Development, and digital financial record keeping. I also served in several ministries including: VBS, youth group, Sunday School. I held the office of trustee and pastoral apprentice.

  • Published two textbooks and 12 peer reviewed publications covering organizational change, mathematics education, and mathematics.
